Brunswick Released Mugshot Window
The official Brunswick Sheriff portal configuration includes a mugshot column in its Released Inmates search. That makes the county’s own recent-release surface the first photo channel for a person who just left the Detention Center. The same portal also shows name, age, race, sex, arrest date, and release date, which help match the image to the correct custody episode.
The advantage is brief. The Sheriff’s inmate-search explanation limits released results to the previous 24 hours, and the portal warns that information changes quickly and selected offenders may be excluded. Once the row disappears, that absence says nothing about whether the underlying photograph still exists. It also does not prove that the booking was sealed, destroyed, or removed under a legal order.

Brunswick Sheriff App Photos
The official Brunswick County Sheriff – NC app includes inmate search, sex-offender information, Most Wanted, news, and emergency alerts. The Sheriff’s launch announcement also confirms it as an official communication channel. Those sources do not promise a persistent mugshot after release, a historical released-person gallery, or a fixed 24-hour or 72-hour photo filter.
Open the live result and verify whether a photo is displayed at the time of the check. A current inmate photo may vanish when the custody record changes. If the app and web portal differ, compare the person, agency, booking date, and displayed status before drawing a conclusion. The Detention record remains the better source for the release event, and a separate booking-photo request is the clearer route for the image after it leaves public view.

Request Brunswick Booking Photographs
Use the Brunswick County Sheriff record-request form and select “Detention.” A request for the booking and release sheet may not be read to include the image, so name it separately. NCDAC is not the Brunswick jail roster.
